Registration is the debut album from Decollage Trax, and the second release for Idol Patterns.

Registration captures a series of mid-tempo techno excursions drawing influence from the heavy kicks of early Aphex Twin, the moody atmospherics of Sandwell District, and the syncopated tech-house workouts of the Zenker Brothers.

Far from being a monochromatic experience, the tracks on Registration shift in tone and timbre from the brooding build of Dawn, and the jacking kick drums of Infinity 758, to the melodic and contemplative Shedding, ending on the shuffled and exuberantly downcast, In Violet.
