"Hot Flashes" is a dynamic fusion EP born from the creative alliance of Ukrainian artists Vladyslav Putistin and Lvcerate, each embodying a contrasting aspect of EBM and Italo music. 

Putistin's tracks resonate with the exuberance of Italo disco, bringing an upbeat and vivacious energy to the EP. Lvcerate counters this with a darker, more intense EBM influence, crafting tracks that delve into the more mysterious and brooding corners of the genre. Melding into a powerful, cohesive sound that captivates with its intensity and the sharp contrast between their musical philosophies. 

"Hot Flashes" promises to be an electrifying journey through the spectrum of emotion that body music can evoke, presented through a narrative that both contrasts and complements.
Together, they create a dramatic tension within "Hot Flashes", where the joy meets the melancholic, and the light dances with the dark.

Zee Mon, Berlin-based German newcomer, blends EBM and New Beat-inspired music, incorporating heavy basslines and strong snares into his compositions. He transitions between mildly aggressive moods and more playful atmospheres, embellishing his productions with self-crafted vocal hints. Zee Mon drops a singular track in his debut on DISCOTECA NEGRA giving us a choice dose of a top-notch Dark Voyage for their first compilation named ‘Cocktail Oscuro Vol. I’.

Zee Mon - Some Kind Of Acid [DISCOTECA NEGRA]

Three years after his contribution to Banshees Records, Madrid-based producer Silicodisco returns to the Toledo-based label with a new release and a different ally. If in the first release he teamed up with Cantabrian producer Parissior, on this occasion he teams up with Luis Bonías, a veteran DJ and producer from the Valencian scene. Bonías, now under his alias Bias, has been involved in most of the mythical Valencian venues and has participated in and released a significant number of releases. However, although his records have diversified a lot during his career, this collaboration with Silicodisco confirms the potential of both of them to work with contemporary EBM or with the sonic qualities of industrial and techno.

With three original tracks and a couple of covers by two Spanish projects, Alen Skanner and SM Forma, this five-track collection explores very different perspectives and influences, although the result shows a great affinity between the tracks.

Industrial Walls Of Jericho, the opening track, exhibits a sound and style that fits perfectly with dark wave and industrial electro, however, Alen Skanner's version confirms that there is a context, which is further enhanced with this remix, more akin to goa or psychedelic trance, and indeed, Alen Skanner moves his version completely into this realm.

Primal Tension, the only track without a replica, is nourished by a forceful punch, the strength of the sub-bass and the bass line, although its development involves very disparate locutions, arpeggiated structures or evasive textures. As for Looking For The Residents Motion, the original cut is cerebral and architecturally twisted and complex. SM Forma also adds to the chaos with its remix, although structurally it is a much more ordered and dancefloor-friendly version.

Hexagon – the sixth installment of Samo Records' yearly compilation series – is here, bringing together six tracks that explore a range of powerful and intriguing musical directions. As always, they're excited to introduce a fresh set of artists to the label, each one contributing something unique to the mix.

Clouzer kicks things off with a driving EBM monster, setting a bold tone right from the start. Next up, Gunce Aci delivers a high-tempo, hypnotic hard-hitter. Then, Radondo takes us in a darker direction with a haunting EBM piece that blends atmosphere with intensity, creating a sense of eerie tension. Ton Globiter follows with a high energy of a track, infused with his signature vocals that give the track an undeniable punch. Dream Days maintains the momentum, keeping the tensity high. Finally, KMBN wraps things up with an electro-tinged, leftfield track, offering a surprising and experimental finish to the compilation.

Hexagon is out on December 6th.

Inspired by her surroundings, eternal groove is the underlying sonic glue in Idoru's music, whether rooted in the underground industrial scene of her hometown Detroit, or pulled from the infinite palette of cities experienced from all over the world. Her cyber-futuristic aesthetics are deeply woven into the fabric of Idoru's ethos, and are a nod to favorite sci-fi novelist, William Gibson. 
The cyborgification of humanity also bleeds its influence into Idoru's sonic fingerprint, and an anti-idol philosophy that recoils from human brain-drain and self-adoration. Hence, fearless bass lines and mechanistic sounds often infuse her music, combined with ethereal soundscapes that arrest the mind in unknowable dimensions.
