ZWÖLF Zufälligerweise wird in Braunschweig, der Stadt in der ich aufgewachsen bin, die Zeit gemacht. Zeitsprung: 1938 reisen drei Brüder mit dem Schiff von Bremerhaven in die USA. Im gleichen Jahr wird in Köln meine Großmutter geboren. 
Ich stochere seit Jahren vergeblich in den schwindenden Erinnerungen meiner weniger werdenden Verwandten und frage mich: gibt es vielleicht irgendwo da draußen ein kollektives Gedächtnis der vergangenen Zeit?
