WHOOOO!!! I've been thirsty for some new stuff from you for a LONG time now! Absolutely overjoyed to hear some audial excellence once again!!

Today's premiere is an irresistible taste of Melbourne soul by upcoming vocalist Sunny Reyne.

Melbourne has been a fervent hotbed of talent for some time now, when it comes to forward thinking soul and jazz - not least of all giving us Hiatus Kaiyote, 30/70, Allysha Joy and Mildlife, just to name a few, so it isn't a complete surprise to discover another interesting artist break out to the wider world with chops and grooves worthy of our attention.

Beautifully crafted, rich and soulful, with stripped back instrumentation and a vocal delivery akin to the earthy sounds of Lianne La Havas, and compatriots Nai Palm and Allysha Joy, "Carefully" is the first single to be lifted from Sunny's forthcoming debut EP, produced by Lewis Moody, of 30/70 and Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange.

The Gradients project was created to blend different creative platforms. Our philosophy is that nothing in life is black or white, but a gradient. We explore this concept through various intersections and collaborations between mediums including (not limited to) visual art, design, dance, film, music, architecture, food, computer science, and more.

The most recent Gradients Project that NY-based artist Kathy Lee (aka Yaeji) spearheaded has been the Gradients Mix series--a collection of 30 minute mixes that aurally translate a gradient of 2 colors. She has also been hosting Live Gradients shows in New York where each musical performer is assigned a color to interpret through their set.

"'Hue' was an audio-visual study for me. When I first decided to challenge myself and make multiple tracks that could sit under one theme to be an EP or album, I was stuck with the preconceived idea that it has to hold one consistent sound. That very quickly became limiting for me, so I decided to think of the songs as colors instead, flowing from one to the other like a gradient, to inspire my production. That is why my tracks are each named a color and they all connect to become one, long gradient."

Benny Tones feat. Louis Baker - Time (Glenn Astro & IMYRMiND Remix) (STW Premiere)

This track was released in the US version to the release of "The Drive Home" album I did with Yarlen. This was one of the last things I did on this release, before turning it in. I grabbed a track that I had produced for Induces album called Goodbye (also in my songs here on soundcloud) and wanted to give it a totally different feel than the original, something more dance hypnotic. So.... here is that!
Ill let you DJs have access to download it here for a while until I re-release it then it will be for sale hehehe.

Just about a year ago my laptop was stolen at a show in NY. I lost an album I was working on and learned my lesson the hard way. 
This is one of the tracks I recovered. It features some good friends of mine Brandon Mitchell (Kadence) and Carlos Garcia (L05) on vocals.
I didn't feel it was right for my next release but wanted you all to have it.
