Sadly terrain we've already traversed and the 'sequel'
hardly looks better. Have noted the rise of rightwing extremism all over the place. And with a swag of global powerhouses flexing armaments muscle --you know; Russia, China and the U.S. depending upon leader  -- along with various satellites --the future looks 

well nigh irresponsible. :p

COLD WAR v.  2.0: THE EMPIRES STRIKE CRAIC

I lost interest in SW after EMPIRE, feeling 
a strange disturbance in the Force once  RETURN hit screens, and so I opted out thereafter  [prob'ly obvious in the darker depths 
plumbed here], yet 'tis still also still the recurrence of a cold war that holds most sway. :O

COLD WAR v. 2.1: a NEW DOPE

so I had no intentions of making this into a quartet till all the sabre-rattling overnight from China re: Pelosi's ill-advised visit to Taiwan, and then that ballyhoo again from the Middle East; oh,
and there's always the Ukraine. :p
today is also the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima -- 
all of which leave me praying too a empty med hall of Norse gods that the world never does something so stupid again, y'know?
