Our first official release is produced by German musician Ben Böhmer. Ben is a young talent who has a growing reputation as a promising live performer in Berlin. We hope that this EP sets the tone for many future releases on Bade Records.

Yana Heinstein kann remixen! In ihrer Diskographie glaenzt sie mit genre-uebergreifenden Remixes fuer Namen wie Kool & The Gang, KRS-One, Nas und viele mehr. 
Und sie hat es wieder getan. Sie praesentiert den Track in dynamisch-spacigem Gewand und verzaubert mit wie so oft mit gekonntem Spannungsbogen und jeder Menge Ueberraschungsmomenten. 

Eliazar & Dromme drosseln das Tempo, ziehen dafuer mit geheimnisvoller Düsternis in ihren Bann. As his Up The Stuss imprint approaches its 4th anniversary, Chris Stussy is continuing to unveil new projects that only add to his ever-growing reputation as an artist and label boss. Welcoming a wealth of global talent to date, the next release brings something special as he digs even deeper to launch the label’s Scholarship initiative - supporting new artists from across the globe with advice, mentoring, initiatives and a platform to showcase their work.

Introducing Pedro Borlado. Born in Madrid but now based in the US, the newcomer is an artist whose sound reflects an artist well beyond his years. An avid digger, embracing wide-reaching influences and pockets of genres within his sets, here he showcases his studio work for the very first time as he unveils his debut production as the first artist to release on Up The Stuss’ new sub-label with his four-track ‘First Light’ EP.

Bringing one of 2024’s most notable basslines alongside swirling synths and skippy drums, title cut ‘First Light’ sets the tone from the off. ‘Pleasure Pallet’ balances acid tones and warping sonics, while ‘Seeking Infinity’ harnesses hazy grooves and snaking percussion amongst playful arrangements. Add in closing cut ‘E700’, loaded with machine funk and pumping low-ends, and you get a stand-out debut from a name you’ll be hearing much more of in the coming years.

Drawing from Aztec cosmology and jungle mysticism, this release blends deep grooves, tribal energy, and spacey atmospheres into a vivid soundscape. Each rhythm pulses like a ritual, flowing through the body and echoing in the mind.

On remix duties we’re proud to welcome Barut, a Miami-based producer whose work has long influenced our label's direction. He’s known for his deep, minimal style and solid catalog of vinyl releases, especially on respected labels like Botanic Minds. He brings a fresh and elegant take on “Fusion,” balancing deep rhythms with a refined club feel.

Adrian Iftode aka Iftodee is a young promissing DJ from Galati, Romania. His music journey started at a young age, when he found some tapes with different genres and was impressed by the electronic ones from Carl Cox, ATB, and Danny Tenaglia. From that moment he started to develop his DJ skills and style, which is now called "DownStairs" and contains influences from Techno, Minimal and Tech. One of the most important moments in his career was in 2014, when he was selected to be a finalist for the DJ training camp by DJ SuperStore Romania. There he had the chance to learn from and work together with important persons in the romanian music industry, such as DJ Optik, Deepcentral, Ali Nasser, or Marika. Since then, his career was on the rise, and he mixed at various gigs in Galati or events organized by DJ superstore (Bucharest), alongside Chriss, Twodor, Ali Nasser, Marika. Currently Iftodee is working on his first album, which is bound to be finished by the end of May, 2016, so stay tuned for more.
