Zigedub is a British-based reggae music broadcaster, producer,  known for his dedication to authentic reggae music and sound system culture. Active since the early 1990s, Zigedub has worked behind the scenes in production, artist development, and the global promotion of reggae music, emphasizing its cultural and historical roots.
Early Life and Introduction to Reggae
Zigedub developed a passion for reggae music during his childhood in the United Kingdom, collecting vinyl records and tapes, and immersing himself in the local sound system scene. His first record purchase was Ranking Dread’s Fattie Boom Boom in 1981, which marked the beginning of his lifelong commitment to reggae. Over the years, Zigedub’s involvement in sound system culture grew, shaping his understanding of reggae as a music of empowerment and cultural expression.
Global Influence and Cultural Experiences
Having lived and travelled in multiple countries, Zigedub has absorbed diverse cultural influences, earning him the nickname "Man from Foreign." These experiences have deepened his appreciation for the universal appeal of reggae and its capacity to unite people across cultures. Despite his global travels, he continues to maintain strong ties to the UK, where he frequently broadcasts and produces music.

Zigedub has positioned himself as a facilitator within the reggae community, focusing on the production and promotion of emerging talent. He has consistently advocated for maintaining the authenticity of reggae music, resisting commercial trends that dilute its message and essence. His work encompasses radio broadcasting, music production, and the syndication of reggae programs to stations worldwide.

Zigedub hosts several radio shows dedicated to reggae music, broadcasting live from the United Kingdom. His programs are syndicated internationally, reaching audiences in Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States. Notable collaborations include:
•	Uniquevibez.com: Saturday broadcasts from 6 PM to 8 PM (GMT).
•	Trend FM 100.9 (Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria): Sunday broadcasts from 11 PM to 1 AM (WAT).
•	Global FM Reggae Radio (Trinidad and Tobago): Saturday broadcasts from 2 PM to 4 PM (local time).
•	The English Connection Media: Saturday broadcasts from 1 PM to 3 PM (EST).
Through these platforms, Zigedub showcases classic and contemporary reggae music, preserving its authenticity while introducing new audiences to its rich cultural heritage.
Philosophy
