Based in Tokyo. DJ, Organizer and Director of “Re:birth Festival”.
Kojiro is a highly active creator from Japanese electronic music scene. He has been involved and co-working with many cutting edge organizations and pioneer artists of Japanese scene since 2003. In 2013, he started “Re:birth Festival” with several domestic organizers, festival crew, and artists. To bring back rave and club festivals in Japan and been producing mixed genre of events with Techno/House/Psy Goa Trance/ Ambient/Bass Music/Slow Groove and Art instalations & lighting.

Since 2008, He has been playing and producing music under Japanese label “Hypnodisk” by Ree.K & Masa. And always playing at underground parties and festivals around the country. His sets brings a deep, groovy and full power psychedelic journey to the dance floor with combine of Techno/Minimal/Tech, Deep House/Psy-Progressive.
He has toured the world in the past and co-work and played for oversea festivals, such as “Eclipse Festival”, “Rainbow Serpent”, “Symbiosis” and many others.

He has another talented skills making VJ & Decoration with friends of art creation crew from Tokyo and around Japan.
Creating party and psychedelic space of music and art for inspirations, with an experimental re-create mix of Japan.

This week’s special and exclusive techno mix is delivered by the obnoxious father of the #underground techno scene in India since 1997, Iggythebastard, a.k.a. Iggy, a.k.a. Ignatius Camilo (@iggythedj), who comes from the land of sea, sunshine, and underground madness, GOA, India. Iggy is a DJ, club-owner, label owner, and fashion model.

This vinyl-mix is made spontaneously using three decks. Iggy likes to keep it real and move music through the decks, instead of using computers. Iggy has consistently maintained his style of delivering RAW and truly underground music, as well as his tireless contribution to society and the environment. 

Iggy is well known for his frequent long (8 hours) sets and has performed non-stop for 24 hours. He is the only DJ in India who can play 20 different styles of music with flair, consistency, and flawless mixing.

Iggy’s humble beginnings were at beach shacks and dingy bars, where he would carry speakers on his mother’s scooter in the late '90s, and there onwards worked to perfect the quality of his sound so that people could distinguish between mere music and the nuanced emotional experiences it entailed.

Moving forward and further sonically to major cities like Mumbai and Delhi, receptive audiences there gave him the push to play the way he desired, and as his love for vinyl grew it wasn’t long before he became recognized as a person whose technical ability with sound was impossible to ignore. 

Orchestrating phenomenal performances and experiences from there on at gigs throughout India and around the world in London, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Croatia all the while remaining true to his art form, these endeavors led him to actualize his yearning to create a sanctuary back in his village in Goa, and #CirrusAnjuna was born. 

Cirrus Anjuna, cycled the recycled and invited producers and artist to create a complementary gallery of artistic expression. These efforts bear tremendous fruit today, with Cirrus Anjuna being the only consistent underground venue for experimentation. A place where the bourgeois is discarded and the love for creativity is celebrated.

Ignatius Camilo - Iggy - The Bastard - Father Obnoxious - Kutta Kamina

Creating sound, recognizing sound, predicting sound... it comes from your own method... "YOUR MADNESS".

Iggy's story of belief and conviction: He is a self-taught hustler from Goa. He set out to create a vision for sound in India. Began by playing at beach shacks and dingy bars, carrying his speakers on his mothers scooter in the late 90's. He worked to prefect that quality of sound so that people could distinguish between mere music and the layers of emotion it orchestrated. Bombay and Delhi gave him the push to play the way he desired. His love for vinyl grew, and he began to be recognized as the person who's technical ability with sound was difficult to ignore. He landed gigs throughout India, and in London, Germany, France, Spain, Beljium, Bangladesh, Nepal, Croatia and South Africa. He remained true to his art form. A yearning to create his own sanctuary brought him back to his village in Goa, and Cirrus was born in 2010. Cirrus, the sanctuary that cycled the recycled, and invited producers and artist to create a rough gallery. Iggy is the director of that collective(Goa underground Tribe). Today Cirrus is the only consistent underground venue for experimentals, a place where the bourgeois is discarded and the love for creativity is celebrated. Besides Cirrus and G.U.T) Iggy created a mobile sound machine: The Vinyl Ambulance, an antidote to the cookie-cutter festival culture. He needed justice to his music and so BHOPOO Audio was born. Custom hand crafted sonic perfection curated to sound like studio reference monitors at PA level volumes. Gathering all his experience Iggy set out to make music with his team, to produce a voice and a language that sums up his entire journey. And Gandu Records was born. Today in its third release and with the singular motion of his fingers, Iggy continues to explore and build on that movement...
