Feeling quite inverted. flipped. reversed and pulled. fleshed out. kind of as if we're suspended in some virtual space that is starting to feel more n more real.

We left Berlin to go on tour last August and we still haven't found our way back to living in the same city. Torn away by personal tragedies and unforeseen stories. All with a dose of corona as the cherry on top. It's been difficult but in some ways we are feeling more inspired than ever.

Today our inversion is reaching new peaks as Behnam is heading to the base and his love in Berlin and I am working and spending time with my beloved in nature before finding my way back also.
.
During this time musically we've focused on giving proper love to each of our releases. But now we come to you with a longly overdue set that clinches a moment of where our hearts and minds have been. So take it all in and lean in. Much love from both of us to you.

For this version of VOS, the Lab Coat is being worn by an extraordinary artist in the name of Sangeet. Assembled in his home studio in Berlin, the music addict put together a breathtaking voyage of spirits that blends ethnic aromas with deep, colourful sounds coming from his rich musical heritage.

Sangeet is a DJ and music producer with experience of more than 30 years, well known for combining tribal melodic grooves full of multi cultured influence that lifts up. Since 2017 he found his new musical home in the global downtempo family, releasing his music on outstanding labels like MŎNɅDɅ, Lump Records, Deep Bali Records, Bercana Music, Shango Records, Pipe & Pochet and Arts Vibes Music.

When everything’s over and we look back at the 100 sets we’ll have accumulated, we’ll realize that each of them has a special and beautiful story, created at the right time in the right manner, and the one by @justemmaoffical is no exception. It’s been a long time since we first proposed that they join the project, but it didn't work at first due to scheduling conflicts. Then the Covid days arrived, the pair got some free time on their hands to record a fresh mix, then we found out that Rambalkoshe would be participating in SOUQ Festival, and that we were going to need an opening act, so they managed to create the set just in time for the festival. But the reason why the set is titled “chapter one” is a whole different story you can ask them yourself about.
