The direction that Faex Optim (aka Wesley MacDonald) steers "Lucky Charm" is a little different from what we are used to from the multitalented sound sculptor. His crystallized sonic worlds mostly rested on well-established Boards of Canada psychedelic and downtempo dynamics, but "Lucky Charm" has a more reflective melody with danceable electronics and broken beats that we're welcoming with open ears. An utterly refreshing and colorful track.
