All of us here at ADID have been super excited about this release for months. Not only does it contain the gorgeous original mix from Maher Daniel and John Charnis that has been melting ladies hearts all summer long but we also have quite a superb remix. Luca Bachetti's Endless label is one of our favorites here and it was only a matter of time until we knew we were going to (gently) prize something special from his musical soul. His remix has caused a little bit of a stir. We've been bombarded on a daily basis with requests for it. Well, for all you bombarders, it's finally here. Initially we only sent it out to a tiny handful of friends and family. Dixon and Ame both played it in Panorama bar on the same night, and it's been a staple track in Lee Burridge's sets all summer. It never sounded better than at Burning Man festival this year and those lucky enough to have been there will attest to the mystical journey it weaved as it meandered out of the Robot Heart bus's perfect sound system and across the playa. One of it's most memorable moments, so far, for sure. Now it's time for you to create your own magic with it. The hardest decision you'll have to make is deciding which mix to play. Maher Daniel & Jon Charnis - Lonely Stars In Open Sky(Luca Bacchetti Endless Remix)

The first volume of the Movement Recordings Technical Progress sampler's was released in April of 2010. The exclusives compilation series quickly became a benchmark for fresh progressive music and on certain occasions provided an sneak peak at some future singles forthcoming on the Greek label. This week Movement Recordings has unleashed Volume 5 of the much loved series and they've called upon label artist Stergios to handle the A&R duties. The Greek producer has been an integral part of the Movement Recordings team since the inception of the label. It's a daunting task compiling a collection with such a great pedigree and Stergios has done a phenomenal job here.

The compilation gets underway with the deep and sultry grooves of 'Waves' by Michael A. The Belarus based producer has been one of the underground's most exciting talents and his dreamy, mid-tempo construction seems like the perfect way to get the collection started. It leads nicely into 'Down Town' by Hugo HP and Pablo Discobar. Hailing from Luxembourg this newly formed duo have just one previous project released . The funky deep house grooves of 'Down Town' is not only their finest work to date but it picks up nicely where 'Waves' left off . Look for a brand new single on Movement Recordings from this exciting duo soon which includes remixes from Tash and Samuel L. Sessions

Next are two of Mexico's most loved progressive house producers. Generally working as a duo Uvo and Hugo Ibarra deliver two solo productions here. The first 'Aerial' sees Uvo with a driving, trippy techno bomb while 'Sharp Stone' finds Hugo one of the deepest and most hypnotic works of his career. No installment of the Technical Progress series would be complete without a production from label boss Tash and here he continues a phenomenal streak with 'Peak Nic'. As one of Greece's most versatile producer's Tash is equally adept at crafted big peak time dance floor burners as he is a deep and sultry groover. 'Peak Nic' definitely falls into the latter category and is perhaps one of the collections most emotionally stimulating pieces. Dar & Dor are up next with 'Agapito' and it shows the Israel duo's haunting, richly textured sound at its absolute best. Led by a poignant sequence of keys and a dreamy back drop it's sure to set an amazing atmosphere for any room.

Much like compilation A&R Stergios, Stage Van H & Rogier have been two of Movements longest standing artists. Here they make their 19th and 10th appearances respectively with 'Spaceships'. Long noted for their warm engaging grooves, heartfelt melodic themes and mystical atmospheres Stage and Rogier have once again outdone themselves with 'Spaceships'. It's floaty textures and emotional chord changes lead perfectly into 'New Wave' by compilation A&R Stergios. The tracks warm, full grooves, playful bass tones and angelic soundscapes makes for an enchanting journey; one that's sure to raise a few goose bumps along the way. The compilation concludes with another one of the progressive scenes best talents in Dmitry Molosh. The Belarus based producer made waves in 2014 with a fusion of deep house grooves and progressive designs. His latest production 'The Shattered Hopes' puts an perfect cap on the compilation with its gargantuan grooves, mesmerizing synths and haunting atmospheres. An amazing collection from Movement Recordings and Stergios! Don not miss it!

Have you heard Rodriguez Jr.'s 'Persistence Of Vision' EP on Mobilee Records? If not, you better. It's four tracks of erratic and sizzling house, the kind he's been championing over the years. 

The French producer released it on Anja Schneider's Mobilee Records, the same label he released his thumping, full-of-good-vibes debut album 'Bittersweet' on in 2011. 

While the Marc Romboy collaboration 'Picnic Electronique' collaboration has come between then and now, Olivier Mateu is back on Anja's label with the three-track 'Chrysalism' EP at the end of this week.

Isolée’s Arrival

When three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record upon first listen. When Isolée sent his "Mangroove" EP to Maeve, this was in fact what happened. But it is Isolée after all....

Mangroove came about last summer when The Drifter happened to catch Isolée's live set at a festival in Switzerland. Instantly blown away by the A side "Pisco" he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. After chatting, Isolée suggested that he would send "Pisco" along with a couple of other "demos" to Maeve and a few days later the EP was happening.

Isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work.

This three track EP shows several different sides of the Frankfurt native, from the A-side dance floor catalyst that is "Pisco" to the deeper dubbier B-sides of "L5 Syndrome" and "Mangrove". This is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.

Timo Maas & James Teej have worked frequently together in the past, and their chemistry is highly audible within their re-envisioned version of "Porcelain." Ensuring the original's aesthetic is kept in place, they season its signature piano chords and dissonant synths with a throbbing bass-line and eclectic percussion. These subtle, yet crucial elements make "Porcelain" adaptable to the after hours dance-floor, hypnotizing listeners as it gently rolls along.
