Sport Mode FM #001 (Ft. Corsa)

Happy Monday, and thank you for checking out this week's episode of Sport Mode FM. For this one, I've been fortunate enough to feature a guest mix from a very close friend, and mentor figure of mine. He goes by the moniker of Abe Froman, and is the head of the American Junglist platform. This individual is responsible for me even pursuing a mix series in the first place. I'd contemplated it for a while, even before I met him, and he was the one who gave me the final push to proceed forward with it, and I'll never forget that.

This mix is nothing short of the usual clean and cohesive mixing style that he's established his own reputation for, and it's a privilege to be able to have him featured as the first guest for the reboot. Sport Mode FM #002 (Ft. American Junglist)

Taking the wheel of the series this week is none other than one of Tampa Bay’s best kept secret weapons, TRON. I’ve been a fan of his mixing style and track select for some time now, and more so because it’s similar to how I approach my sets. This one is no exception, as it features a healthy dose of high energy tunes fit for race day, and a set in which I’ve already listened to at least 5 times over. I expect that number will only increase with time as well. Sport Mode FM #005 (Ft. Corsa) [Berlinetta Set]

Behind the wheel of the Sport Mode series this week is Tampa Bay native HELLMAN. I've known HELLMAN for a while now, as he was one of the first people that got me plugged into the bay area drum & bass scene when I kicked off my project. I've always had such great interactions with him whenever we crossed paths, and have played on a number of shows together. He's always been so encouraging of my endeavors, and it's a privilege to add him to the Sport Mode lineup. Below is a bit more about HELLMAN, as well as a tracklist and all the links you can find him at.

HELLMAN is Drum & Bass Promoter and DJ based out of Tampa Bay, Florida. As a
member of ANODNB (A Night of Drum & Bass) and Foundation.DnB, HELLMAN has
promoted and performed for numerous Drum & Bass shows all over the state of Florida.
HELLMAN’s selection consists of Jungle, Soulful, Liquid Funk and Hip-Hop influenced
Drum and Bass. For 3 decades HELLMAN surrounded himself with the local and
international Drum & Bass talent that would visit the Tampa Bay scene; this proved to
be his inspiration and motivation to step up to the plate and push the sound to a wider
audience. 2015 proved to be HELLMAN’s freshman year, playing events at many
underground night clubs in the Central Florida Area and opening for the world’s top
Drum and Bass talent. HELLMAN is always looking for new opportunities to push the
Drum & Bass scene to its limits and wave the banner of his local scene.

Sport Mode FM #007 (Ft. Cāvm4n)

In the driver's seat this week is Florida native Phrisson. I've been looking forward to having a guest mix featuring this individual, he's become one of my closest friends within the last few years, after having met him through a Facebook Marketplace transaction for a Pioneer XDJ-XZ. Since then, we've both taught each other a great deal about either the drum & bass scene or the music one in general, and everything in between. He also is the primary founding member of the S.T.A.M.P Collective which is situated in St. Petersburg FL, where they host weekly fire & flow edm nights at their base of operations, Steep Station.
