Born and raised in Italy’s legendary Venice, Marco Lys’s reputation has been forged on endless days in the studio perfecting his unique sound of tech tinged house, and demand for his sound has continued to grow with every piece of production that he works his magic on.

Marco Lys’s career is testament to those who feel that things come too easy for the modern day electronic music producer, but to all those in the industry who have been involved with his work, none are surprised at his success.

Twenty years later and he is firmly established as one of the most respected producers in his genre, with an endless flow of superlative productions as 'Your Love', 'Speechless', 'la Tromba', ‘Cross The Line’, 'GO' , 'You Need Some' and remix projects for the industry’s finest imprints.

His work on labels that include Positiva, Rising Music, Nebula, Oxyd, Audio Therapy, Defected, Rise, Strictly Rhythm, Great Stuff and Toolroom have gained support from the cream of the world’s elite, whilst collaborations with Sam Paganini, My Digital Enemy , Michael Gray, Prok & Fitch, Alex Kenji and Chris Lake amongst others show his diversity and ability to bend his sound to suit.

On the remix tip, Marco Lys continues to push the boundaries, and with various original projects now complete and due for release over the coming months, Marco is now firmly back on the remix scene, with projects for some of the biggest labels on the planet.

Last years has seen Marco playing on some of the most important clubs around the world as Ministry Of Sound and Proud2 in London, Set in Miami and Amnesia in Ibiza to name a few.

Massimiliano Marinacci was born in Rome and grew up in a family of musical artists: his mother is a harpist, his uncles play the saxophone and his grandfather is a pianist and a composer. His love for music started very early on as he fell in love with hip hop, soul, and rap cultures. With an ABC crew, at 18 years of age, his love and curiosity for music flow into a musical research.

He was a resident DJ at Koolparty with an historical figure of italian clubbing, Andrea Torre. Subsequently, he worked at the console of the Alibi Club, a focal point of Roman nightlife offering selections of House along with Jazz and Afro-American music. He performed in various locations in Piemonte (Torino), Sardinia (Porto Rotondo, Sassari, Oristano) and in South Italy (Magazzini Fermi) Malta (The Villa St.Julian's). In Rome, he continued on his quest, working at the Muccassassina one-night, at historical club The Akab, in the cave room playing deep soulful house.

His music has been released on King Street Sounds, Nite Grooves, Irma Records, Unquantize, MoBlack Records, Madorisindahouse, Solid Ground Recordings, Sunclock, Double Cheese Records, Merecumbe Recordings, Cabana Recordings, Union Records, Retrolounge Records, House Tribe Records…and working with some of the most known R&B and Soul singers as Carla Prather, Wendy Lewis, Fatimah Provillon, and Southafrican rising star Hazel, African Griot from Senegal Badara Seck, with Italian House crew Spellband, italian producer Peppe Citarella, and with some talents of Jazz and Soul like Paolo Pavan, Giancarlo Ciminelli, Franco Marinacci, Peter De Girolamo. He has performed at Amsterdam Dance Event Festival in 2015 and 2016 playing at MoBlack Records Party. His tracks has been played, charted and supported by The King of House David Morales, Laurent Garnier, Hector Romero, Roger Sanchez, The London duo Rhemi, MoBlack, Luke Solomon, and were remixed by N’Dinga Gaba, Justin Imperiale, Groove Assassin, Doug Gomez, Abicah Soul, Luyo. 
He had too remixed Robert Owens, and Deep house soldier Jovonn.

On 2020 he founded Jazz in da House Records label focused on jazzy infused of electronic sound.
