About this EP :
From a parallel universe comes Metamine, a unique sonic fusion between the eclectic grooves of Rafael Aragon and the deep rhythms of Kaygee, both traveling worlds between folktronica and downtempo, uniting paths of slow organic vibes and crude but sweet analog electronic beats.

Metamine EP comes to existence as a 7 tracks journey that also profits from the warm sounds of the mediterranean by Vinzoo, the exquisite talent of Mamzu from Japan and the Berlin’s electronic touch by Luett Matten in a whole cosmic voyage for every soul to enjoy. Полтора часа музыкальной импровизации в кругу друзей,
полтора часа самозабвенного удовольствия от погружения в то, что любишь всем сердцем - ЗВУЧАТЬ.

Просто позволить своей душе звучать...на языке понятных ей внутренних образов и смыслов, пропуская через себя в этот момент взгляды всех присутствующих рядом.

И я радуюсь возможности поделиться с вами состоянием того вечера, запечатлённое в этих десяти песнях.

Эти песни-молитвы со мной уже довольно долгое время. Весна, как известно, время обновления. Поэтому я приветствую возможность отпустить их в свободное плавание, освободив тем самым пространство для новых откровений, стихов и молитв.

Я благодарю музыканта и композитора Диму Жура за прекрасную импровизацию на клавишах, придавшая этим песням так много новых оттенков и глубины.

Благодарю любимую Златушку за поддержку, Лад и бесценный дар быть вместе.

Благодарю сестрицу Matushkita за стихи в песнях Лес - Чародей и Лад. Твои стихи поистине волшебны.

This set was originally played on Aug 11th, 2022 for StarTribe at Pack Square in downtown Asheville, NC. As storm clouds passed through we were blasted with both intense sunlight and darkness. Fitting since this set is all about the presence of light and dark, and my attempt to bring them together in harmony. 

This set contains explicit lyrics, and is meant to touch upon all of the emotional cords. If you're going to go into it, just be prepared for a fully-on journey.

A few days after my performance I went back and reworked a few areas, some songs changed, some were added to the end to soften the landing into something more smooth and integrative.

Also want to say, I think this is one of my best sets, it's definitely my current favorite. It shows a lot of my growth in my transitions with a lot more "mash-up" style mixes. Always learning and growing. I did f*ck up one of the mixes, but hey, I'm only human. Mistakes aside, it feels good when artistic progress becomes noticeable. Enjoy.
