You know you’re doing something very, very right when your Coya DJ residency expands to include sister venues in Abu Dhabi, Monaco, Sardinia , London, Paris and Mykonos. Then again, hard work has come naturally to Romanian born DJ Alex Twin during his career.Armed with a set of decks by 16, a vinyl DJ at 19 and running Bamboo Club Bucharest at just 21 and a guest at leading Romanian club Fratelli, he made the move to Ibiza where success quickly followed.

Playing a mix of Electronic , Afro House and Melodic Techno vibes to fit each venue, he also held residencies at Palm Beach Ibiza, Cala Bassa Ibiza, Elephant Ibiza and Café Mambo Ibiza.Sharing the decks alongside big names like Adriatique, H.O.S.H , Oxia, Laolu , FNX Omar, Megablast and many others, he developed his own sound and style. Before making the move to the UAE 7 years ago, becoming a full time DJ and producer and Coya’s rising star.

With his profile rising in the emirate, he’s become an in-demand DJ including playing at the Monaco and Abu Dhabi F1 after parties and the Official Cannes Film Festival after party DJ.A producer with a growing reputation, with EPs recently released to labels like All Day I dream, Pipe & Pochet, Bercana Music and Coya Music, his music has been strongly supported by Lee Burridge , Lost Dessert , Blondish and many others.
His latest EP signed on "Pipe & Pochet" went out in January 5th and it gained unexpected hype in the Electronic Music industry, proving that Alex Twin continues to do all the right things in his growing DJ and production career.

After touching the grounds of many countries with our beautiful Babylon we are now writing you from one of the many countries our KMLN's are lucky to call home, Bali. 

As we gratefully parade on their grounds we can look forward to reuniting once again with one of our favourite DJ duos in the galaxy next week (21.12) at our first show in Bali and at the same time we can look back at one amazing performance this year at The Monastery.

We are glad to welcome Manski, he is a DJ producer from Hamburg, Germany. He creates electronic sounds from different noises, his multilayered beats are especially rousing through the alternation of atmospheric sounds, vocals and driving basses.

Manski Said : 
"In order to fully devote oneself to auditory sensory perception, it is advisable to sharpen it by attenuating other senses. This becomes conceivable by closing your eyes. The listener can dissipate into the acoustic realm of music on a deeper level. This sensory incorporation of music enables the interlocking connection of physical and musical harmony. You feel the music . You are one with the music. Conversely, it is intriguing not to neutralize the senses but to direct them in such a way that they unfold accordingly within the musical framework. Visuals or optical stimulations act as a supportive agent for the evolution of the theme and make it possible to round off the "storytelling" aspect of each track with a sharply synchronized fade-in after the beat. The narrative is told in unison by the VJ and the DJ, respectively. However, the VJs dichotomic use of imagery is inherently disintegrating whilst continually creating new imagery landscapes. The art is to synchronize the body with another sensory impulse, acoustically as well as visually, and to expand the boundaries of perception by superimposing two amplitudes in order to create an intensive holistic body experience"
