Dextro has a long track record as a producer. He started to learn the art of DJ'ing in 91 and has a different perspective on music. His residencies in several clubs for over 15 years has forged his name and helped him create his own distinctive brand of music. 
As a producer he has made many tracks with his Redkone project that was born in 2003, as well as a multitude of tracks for other labels. Over the last 30 years Dextro has played all over the world and has releases on a variety of international record labels such as BEK Audio, Suara, Gynoid, Sleaze, Korpus 9, Planet Rhythm, Odd, Toolroom, Naked Lunch  and more.

A.Paul has been helping shape the techno sound in the last decades, with his raw, high energy sets and his never-ending flow of studio productions, either as A.Paul or his other aliases like Loudon Kleer or Beat Therapy. 30 years devoted to electronic music, made him one of the most versatile and prolific artists in the world.

Finishing off the month on a massive high, we welcome the incredible Klaudia Gawlas to the podcast for a 1 hour mix. 

Life is and was about being happy for Klaudia and techno makes her happy. That is what counts. Upon her return to Germany she wanted to share her ever-growing record collection with the dance-floors and worked and honed her craft, after borrowing money to buy some record players. She paid her dues, practicing at the Open Turntables in Alcatraz, Landau and soon encountered open ears. She got her first bookings in Bavaria, her network started to grow organically, slowly, but steadily and then suddenly, there it was, her chance: She won a mixtape contest and played at the Ruhr in Love Raveline floor in 2008. 
Her career started to pick up steam. Bookings for Mayday, Time Warp, Nature One, Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Brazil, Argentinia followed and Klaudia kept on nurturing the ever-growing community of fans around the globe with every gig. She partnered with Eric Sneo, running the cult-label MOD together. Her LPs “Zeitgeist” (2013) and “Vision” (2016) in combination with her immortal single “Papillon” established her 
reputation as a producer. 
Klaudia keeps on giving it all for her music. The fans, the bookers and techno itself thank her for it!

Our next artist is originally from Brazil, he begab his journey among the underground clubs and obscure after-parties –  eventually moved to London, building upon a relentless passion for vinyl and further taking a leap into the world of production. He has been featured on imprints such as @affin, @circularlimited and @kvlto-records and many others. His distinct sound has taken shape over the years, intoxicating listeners through hypnotizing rhythm and cerebral loops. We are honored to have @caueborba complete our roster this year.

We are excited to wrap up the year 2022 with a bang by featuring Toki Fuko's incredibly vivid and immersive mix. The Russian artist brings a diverse array of hypnotic sounds to the table in this captivating recording. In his current work, Toki Fuko spends most of his time in his sound laboratory, collaborating with other artists both within Russia and abroad. He is constantly finding new ways to experiment with sound modulation and push the boundaries of his craft

Recently this talented producer released wonderful EPs on labels like Silent Season, Annulled Music, Affin Records and many others, which are well worth checking out. In addition to all of this, Toki Fuko is making a name for himself as Live PA artist, as he is performing alongside Simone Bauer among others at the upcoming Confluence event at Petit Bain club, Paris next month.

One of the most active players shaping contemporary Techno, Temudo has developed his own vocabulary creating a unique trademark sound. 
His interpretation of the genre is made through a clinical approach, blending the soul of the genre with a modern and unorthodox methodology.
With the rare ability to absorb and express different moods keeping the same signature sound, he manages to have the seal of a wide spectrum of labels like Klockworks, Blueprint, Soma or Warm Up - whose work speaks for itself. 
As a DJ the sharp vision remains, delivering a fast paced eclectic journey with music from different time frames mixed in an coherent and elegant way. 
He’s one of the minds behind Hayes and runs his own Mastering Studio: Tema Mastering.

In 2023 Temudo starts a journey into Live performance: his approach has been much less linear than one would expect as it is more of a spontaneous act than a structured, pre-programmed set. This results in each set being completely different, a whole lot of variety and him squeezing Ableton to the limit of sonic possibilities.

Amplify Series 096 - Temudo (Live at Solid Velvet)

My Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1, originally aired Aug 2018. Here it is without the radio drops.

I’m usually not much of a preplanned mix person, I massively prefer playing to a crowd and interacting with the atmosphere. Combine that with the extremely not insignificant fact that this is one of the most important and longest running mix series around, this was quite a challenge!

I spent a long time gathering these 40 songs and playing with the arrangement (even made a couple new edits). I included songs that have been staples in my sets, plus old favorites from before I was a DJ. Eternal shouts to Nathan Micay, Aurora Halal, Overmono, E-Talking and Koehler for letting me include your dope as hell unreleased new music (plus two unreleased songs from myself). 

The last song is by Oakland band Them Are Us Too and this mix is dedicated to those who lost their lives in a diy music space a year and a half ago. Your music and love lives on. FUCK technocrat capitalist greed in the bay. One of Ghost Ship’s spiritual predecessors, Ghost Town in Oakland, was one of the first gigs I ever played, back in 2011 right around the time when I was realizing that I loved making music and DJing. 

If someone told me then that I’d eventually make an Essential Mix and be touring around the world, I’d be incredulously curious to see just how that would unfold. It’s been wild. Thank you to everyone who has listened and danced with me since then.
