DJ Dyke Boyfriend is the deejay project of Treaty 4/Regina-based multimedia and performance artist Jaye Kovach. DJ Dyke Boyfriend’s debut release is an 8 track LP called A Party Behind Closed Doors and is available on August 12th, 2023, via Bandcamp and streaming platforms. 

DJ Dyke Boyfriend makes music that delights at the frayed edges, where neon light streams in through the seams of existence. Glitchy, propulsive, and layered, her mixes radiate a fresh aliveness for dance floors, making sonic space for joy, desire and limitless dreaming. Practically, DJ Dyke Boyfriend crafts beats and weaves melodies using various iPhone apps and a small collection of analog gear.
