Magical Beautiful - Frank Sampedro

Improvised music built around 4-bar loop of the Vermona DRM1 MkIII sequenced by MPC1000. The loop was made to get a set of sounds going on the DRM1 (an 8-voice analog drum synth), and inspired by the weird instrumental song on Roxy Music’s “Avalon”, which I had just heard at the coffee shop. The melodic sounds come from the fabulous Dreadbox Erebus (paraphonic, semi-modular Greek synth) and the Ensoniq ESQ1. Delay from the EHX Deluxe Memory Man. Mild editing on Pro Tools.

I do not know what my next project will be. Right now, I am trying to figure out how to live without an active musical outlet, which means I may occasionally post quick improvs or sketches onto soundcloud until something is ready to take off. Only booked show is Night Terror playing a haunted house at Experimental Sound Studio on Halloween.
