88 - Double Happiness comprises a mix of well-known artists and emerging talented producers who are showcasing the new sounds of Asia. It sonically explores the electronic musical scene coming all the diversity
of Asian countries.

Each artist brought their own flavour to the compilation with their unique sounds and dance-worthy beats.

Childhood returns with another mind blowing 4 tracker 12” by Mr. G! This record continues to elaborate on the rather obscure path that G already explored with last years album The Forced Force is not the True Force, yet focuses a bit more on the magic of the dance floor. Ranging from hypnotic patterns over house grooves to fast forward techno funk: this record clearly shows again that Mr. G always manages to keep his distinct signature sound we all love him for, even while advancing into unknown territory. Another magical ride, delivered by yours truly, the Childhood team.

The mix includes some of my new record finds and some tracks I've been playing for a while. Mainly faster, breaky electro tracks over a time span from today to 20 years ago."

"ZENA means the world to me. Since we joined forces three years ago, we have achieved so much together, grown together and gained so much more confidence as individuals and as a group in the field of electronic music and club culture. The very mixed reactions to our founding have shown all the more how important political, feminist, activist and socio-cultural work is in this field. although we have already achieved a lot and things have changed, the work has not become less important. my wish is that we continue to work self-critically, tackle new projects together, learn from each other, get constructive feedback and grow beyond ourselves. I am very much looking forward to the coming years and am happy every day about our special friendship!"

For some years OLIV has been twisting knobs and turning records – always varying between different genres like Experimental, Electroacoustic Music, Minimal, House, Tech, Breakbeat, Electro, Acid and Bass. She has been playing various clubs in Germany as well as London& Amsterdam, supporting various artists, e.g. Shanti Celeste, Saoirse, Object Blue, Cinthie & Kiddy Smile to name a few. For some time, she has become increasingly involved with the interface of electronic dance music and electroacoustic music and the emergence of both genres. She incorporates this scientific approach into various radio mixes, including on Refuge Worldwide, Dublab Brazil and Rinse France.
