I made this song towards the end of summer and I was in a really happy place. I had been stuck in the house for a while (cuz of quarantine) and I was trying to get out more often. I based the song off of an acoustic guitar sample, I just loved the warmth it brought to the song. Im really nervous to post this cuz I've held onto it for like months but I think its a fun song... and it makes me feel like a speed walker so... enjoy<3

"the lights are off" is a song that I made last summer. It's something that is still hard for me to understand. The song is really about dealing with self doubt and staying hopeful for things that seem impossible. It's very depressing but at the end I feel that it becomes encouraging. I'd listen to this song when the lights were off so I made that the title.
