Still vibing to this 7 years later I first listened to it. It reminds me of the times where I was digging hard on SC with my newly found flatmate. I can still feel being among the walls of that apartment if I close my eyes. It's such a shame we can't buy or download this track anywhere, it is a true masterpiece.

When he’s not collecting glowworms and growing rare fruits, Catching Flies finds the time to make music - a bass heavy yet melodic mesh of broody electronics and intricate rhythms, containing shades of everything from hip-hop to house, from soul to jazz. He has received radio support from the likes of Giles Peterson, Annie Mac, Lauren Laverne & Huw Stephens. He took his live show on the road as European tour support for electronic-jazz behemoth Bonobo in 2014 and has also toured solo performing both live & DJ sets throughout the UK, Europe and Asia, concluding in late 2015 with a sold out live band performance with Submotion Orchestra at the Barbican Hall.
Catching Flies is back with a mini EP before another release, consisting of two instrumental pieces: Komorebi and Mama’s Wisdom. 'Komorebi' is a word the Japanese use to describe when sunlight filters through the trees & the interplay between the light and the leaves. Mama’s Wisdom was originally heard in Bonobo’s BBC Radio One Essential Mix, and has now been released due to popular demand.
