Standing on an island of their own musically. The duo mixes Ben’s musical culture with Saull’s methodical precision while being inspired by universal house, disco funk, 90s music, and deep house from the early 2000s. This brings coherence, harmony, and their own flavour to their music that holds special attention to the bass line, a groovy galloping beat, and sexy vocals that connect with the audience.

The duo has released their own tracks for prolific record labels such as No Art, Moan, Politic of Dancing, Wyld, TBX, and, Deep Perfect to highly acclaimed praise. And yet, Ben & Saull’s favourite pastime might be to take a track and add a little bit of II Faces to it, such as their wildly popular edit of Cafe Con Leche. Homegrown is a radio show presented by myself, showcasing some of the very best artists in the underground scene. I will be bringing on artists who are emerging in the scene and creating a strong name for themselves. Also bringing in acts who i have respected for years to showcase their sounds.

This first instalment, I am joined by very talented two duos! Both their sounds are so crisp a fresh, and i'm so happy to have them on to introduce their sounds.

II Faces:
This talented duo originating from Paris, are one of my favourite acts out there. I've seen a few of their sets over the past year, and was lucky enough to play with them, and I can honestly say they are two of the most musically in tune artists I know. Always coming up with fresh surprises in their sets, and crowd favourites everywhere they play. Its an honour to have them on the show, and their mix is outstanding!

Ben Weiss & Saull are two emergent DJs, working as producers, their first EP was released in 2016 and immediately noticed with tracks played at Circoloco DC10, Ibiza. They played with Black Coffee at VOID Mykonos, alongside Patrick Topping and Neverdogs for the Gia Sai x Kaluki Party and at Insomnia before Apollonia in a warehouse party. In 2016 they became part of the Gia Sai Agency  and played with Serge Devant, Richy Ahmed, Djebali, Damian Lazarus, Joris Voorn and Shaun Reeves. Much more to come !
