Iskra (translated from Croatian: “Spark”) is a one-person melancholic ambient music project. Created in Germany 2023 by M, With slow and distorted sounds, the project's main theme is focused on feelings of sadness/melancholy and depression, also described as “the music that feels like drowning”.  Although Iskra is mostly an instrumental project, certain dialogues from movies such as Stay (2005) can be heard in some of the tracks, with purpose to create an even gloomier feeling. The project was never focused on gaining popularity or money, but rather to create art and give you a melancholic, but unique feeling while listening.
