For maj7's "ESCAPE FROM WIP CITY" event. This is based on a WIP by anosci from 2018. Not wanting to destroy his original vision, I decided to try and make it a bit longer and add some additional elements, rather than making a cover or remix. 

I decided to use the Roland XV-5080 VST (for the first time), fun to use and has some good sounds although it started ruining OpenMPT's performance, so unfortunately this track didn't turn out too long. But at least I think I added some nice parts.

Här flätar Nordic Soul Syndicate samman pulserande ökenrytmer, hypnotiska jazzlinjer och skandinavisk soulmystik till ett helt nytt sound: Öken-Jazz från Norrskenets Rike.

Under en turné genom sanddyner, nattmarknader och beduinläger lät NSS de arabiska harmonierna smälta samman med norrländsk melankoli. Resultatet är ett album som vibrerar av eld och is på samma gång — samtida, spirituellt och kompromisslöst futuristiskt.

Det är musik för sena decembernätter, där kylan knastrar utomhus medan sandens glöd värmer hjärtat. En resa genom mirage, norrsken, mjuka elgitarrer, djupt sväng och avant garde-jazz som dansar över både Sahara och Lappland.

An SNES-style piece I've been working on here and there inspired by the soundtrack for SaGa Frontier 2 and to a much looser degree Steve Reich; repetitive, cyclical density in form.  This is, so far, a rough draft constituting maybe 1/3rd of where I want to go and what I want to do with this piece.
