Welcome to the first IIPP student podcast! 

An exciting new podcast series run by the students of the first cohort of IIPP’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) programme, this series will explore more about the work of IIPP, the MPA and give listeners an opportunity to meet some of the students behind the programme. 

In Episode 01: Teaching Innovation and Debunking the Myths of Economics, we cover two modules of the programme and ask the question “what is it all about?” 

Hosted by MPA students Patricia Ugboma and José Maritano Gonzalez, the two speak with IIPP Deputy Director Rainer Kattel to try and answer this question and provide listeners with a comprehensive overview of what IIPP's MPA is all about.

Data is knowledge, but it is also a key asset.  

In Episode 03: Debating Digital Feudalism, we speak with IIPP's MPA and PhD students to host a discussion on who should have our data and what they should be allowed to do with it.

Lead by IIPP PhD student Lukas Fuchs in conversation with MPA students Juan David Garcia Gonzalez, Charles McIvor and Mihai Chereji, the group will discuss their views on Digital Feudalism and discuss possible avenues for reforming the digital economy, from data cooperatives/data trusts to digital and social media innovation in the workplace.
