We think too much. All those thoughts going through your head,
they’re so temporary and about temporary things.
You could really just not think them and it would be…
better, if you could just quiet them all and… feel what’s going on around you.
Just to feel THIS: Beauty, Nature, LOVE.
THIS is the eternal. 
THIS is what matters.

Do you listen to what you hear?

*An old, lonely bull is torn to the ground and eaten alive by a starving pack of feral dogs.
No dog alone could bring down the bull, but together as a pack, the fight is brief.
Where does your pottage come from? There’s no good place to stand in a massacre.
Nor can there be lasting peace for a pack feral dogs, though they spill blood continually.
Yet, an old bull passes on, and the pack sleeps heavily that night, living to see another day.
There’s the possibility of their domestication, to quell the brutality they find necessary,
but, would you blame a farmer if he preferred his shotgun? 
After all, he’s got livestock to protect, to feed, to eat for himself, 
and only so much knowhow in order to maintain his semblance of peace. 
He gets along as one of many, by raising sheep and selling them to a butcher,
who then gets along by slaughtering them and preparing their meat, 
selling it at a marketplace, so that other civilized human beings can get along 
buy buying that meat with the money they earned in a similar manner, so that by and by,
a mother can make a mess of pottage for her children, who don’t mind where it came from.
There’s the possibility of our reconciliation, to quell the brutality we find necessary,
but, would you blame GOD if He preferred to burn this all down and start over again? 
But not so, He LOVES us, and in His great mercy He has given himself as a sacrifice for us; 
rather than destroy us, He has given Himself like a lamb for everlasting peace, 
and even now gives Himself as a lamb for our pottage, giving us time to repent 
from this civilization we can only temporarily maintain by continually spilling blood.
So, what you must do, to inherit eternal peace, is let your pride die like an old bull.
Enter the pack as one of many feral dogs, and then let your fear get shot by the farmer.
Transmute into a sacrificial lamb of GOD’s flock by accepting your domestication,
thereby reconciling all with one. Death isn’t what you think. Take up your cross.*
