The instrumentals I got creating as soon as I completed my stay.
All inspired by some of my favorite Hip-Hop and Rap songs.

My second Rap/Hip Hop track self-produced in Ableton Live 10 in which I talk about various life struggles since coming home from my second deployment with the U.S Air Force which ultimately lead me to my first hospitalization in a psych ward. Marijuana use, a disconnect from society after returning home, losing my dog, splitting with my girlfriend, being misjudged due to my creative nature on social media, family issues and other events eventually lead me to a boiling point at which I ended up breaking furniture in frustration and getting the cops called on me and my first ride in an ambulance to a psych ward. At the end I try to remind everyone not to forget my achievements and not to let these hiccups distract from my successes.

This is my first Rap/Hip Hop track self-produced in Ableton Live 10. Vocals were recorded on an iPhone 11. The track is about a neighbor and was written shortly after she moved away. I express my disappointment that ultimately we didn't end up together and how looking back there were actually quite a few instances where I felt taken advantage of and disrespected.

I'm currently working through a traditional Step 5 with a sponsor, but when I learned of the step while in rehab recently, this music journal entry naturally developed into a musical version. Considering how much toxicity I've shared thus far in previous music journal entries, I thought it'd be totally appropriate as well.
