This is just a short attempt to try working a riff into something more, most likely it'll change alot by the time i realize what i want to do to it.

Keys piano test

This is just a sample of something I am working on right now,  It's short and a little sloppy, especially at the end where I'm still uncertain of how I want it to end.  I need to make some more interesting parts, but that will come as I become more aware of what I want from this song. I recorded this so I could work on writing lyrics for it.  I, of course, took the name from the French Film Le Pact de Lupes' USA title. As always, I put this up to share with friends and recorded it using Pro Tools SE.

Brotherhood Of The Wolf

My Telecaster is in the shop for some cosmetic repairs, so I decided to try my hand at recording on an acoustic instrument, a Yamaha FG-3658.  It has a pick up, but it isn't powered so I had to use the Phantom Power output on my pre-amp.  I didn't have as much direct control over the volume as  I would have like to.

Jingle Bells

This is a little riff I've been working on, trying to add more stuff to it.  I normally play this in C tuning on really heavy strings, but this is on my Telecaster with extremely light strings.  It doesn't really have a name to it, so I just chose that out of my love for Doctor Who.

Daleks in The Sky

I've got an idea for this song, but i can't get it to work.  Not sure what I need to add or take away.  I posted this incomplete song (with a lot of work needed to be done to it.)  I welcome all helpful suggestions on what to do with it.  I want it to have an old school boss battle feel to it.  It's performed in Drop D, tuned half a step down in three different, repeating parts.  Should I use my C tuning guitar?  Replace one of the tracks with a bass track?  Add in something at a certain point?

Boss Battle

I am a beginning musician both in recording and playing.  I mostly created this account to show off my work to my friends, but I welcome any advice that can be offered.  My musical tastes are varied, from heavy metal, indie rock and even electronica/dance/techno.  Right now I am using a Fender Telecaster, and am just about to get the Axiom 49 Key Semi-weighted MIDI Controller to record my music, and when I get confident enough I have a Shure microphone to use.  By when, I mean if (my voice sucks.)  I can't play drums for the life of me, so I'll probably use loops until I can try and make some semblance of a beat..
