DJ/producer Ahmed Spins debuts on MoBlack, together with legendary Kologo maestro Stevo Atambire and South African songstress, Lizwi. The Boston-based artist ushers in his two-track EP through a synergetic collaboration with one of Afro House’s most compelling vocalists and gifted musicians. Vitalized by Stevo Atambire’s affective Frafra vocals, ‘Anchor Point’ is a gratifying calibration and an immersion into the deep combers of house - rife with dynamic Afro rhythms, permeating strings and eloquent vocal gradients. ‘Waves & wavs’ concludes the saga - powered by robust percussion and the sorcery of Lizwi’s soul-nourishing balladry.
