Or, a song about addiction--specifically addiction to gobs of minty toothpaste, or shoegrass pie, or kittens, or fuzzy blankets you want to nuzzle incessantly to the detriment of your professional associations, or philtrum-gazing, or comparatively diminutive lunulas, or raw oats, or anything else that causes intense sensations of physiological deprivation and debilitating anxiety when you have to do without. Kind of like with drugs. But the addicting kinds of drugs. Not that weak designer crap all the fancy kids are into these days. Those drugs don't have a clue.

iKulele is a Man. A man who once received a ukulele as a christmas present from his Uncle. This ukulele was dubbed 'Monster Mash'. Together, iKulele and Monster Mash set off on a journey. A journey to once and for all end the genre war between folk and rap music, a war that has raged on since time immemorial. 

To do this, iKulele would blatantly, and without shame, cover the iconic works of the great artists of the rap genre; The Beastie Boys, Coolio, Outkast, Jamie T, N.W.A and our Lord and Saviour, Snoop Dogg, all on his faithful ukulele, usually sporting some bizarre matrix of beard/moustache combo and a stupid haircut.

After a second consecutive summer spent working at the Glastonbury Festival, (painting the bins, if you must know) iKulele returned to Leeds full of beans and wanting the public to share in his dream of ending the folk/rap conflict once and for all. Armed with his trusty sidekick and a catalogue of other people's songs, iKulele is finally here. Join him won't you?! He's really rather a nice chap!

This soundcloud page is the result of a series of tense negotiations between the bands Mr. Jones and His Visions of Pearl and SpaceRobots from Space.
