As a highly particular release, Kittball is proud to present a reworked version of the classic house hit The Rub, hosted by Pete Tong as Essential New Tune in 2006 by German hero Kurd Maverick. The Revisit version of the original track supported by names like Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Erick Morillo or Josh Wink  has been rubbed into a modern and groovy flavor, being supported with a personal remix by the label owners Tube & Berger and Juliet Sikora as a collab, plus DJ Fronter from Colombia on this very special occasion, who debuts with a massive interpretation on the imprint. Following up his 2017 debut ‘Halo’ EP on Saved, we’re welcoming Italian DJ and producer, Simone Liberali back to the label this month with his brand new ‘Landslide’ EP. His music – distinguished for its powerful, percussive and playful sound, has found homes on labels including Incorrect, NONSTOP, elrow, Material and AVOTRE as well as seeing him tour the world and play in renowned clubs across the globe including Egg London, elrow Barcelona and Pacha & Sankeys in Ibiza. Lead track ‘Landslide’ kicks things off with percussive drums and mesmerizing atmospherics whilst Jinadu’s soulful, soothing vocals offer a memorable hook which is at once uplifting and enchanting yet tinged with a beautiful melancholy. ‘Discordia’ closes out the EP, a playful loop-driven groove with a bouncing bassline, shuffling snares, warped synths and vocal chants that ebb and flow throughout the composition.
