Sam’s EP boot’s off with ‘Chocolate’, a track that builds and builds using detuned synths, stabs and funky drums to make any dance floor erupt. ‘Domino’ is a track that’s bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. The title track ‘Black Leather’ is everything you would expect in a Drumcode record; a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition. The final track ‘Daegon’ uses dubbed out drums to incorporate a synth melody line that will blow your socks off and rounds off this well shaped EP.

Kaiserdisco start the three-track single with 'El Tiburon' that has a pulsating bass line, which isn't for the feint hearted. This peak time stomper uses a melodic synth and unusual synth effects to create the building atmosphere before it kicks back into the throbbing beat. The ascending bass line on the second track 'La Caballa', is supported by white noise and a rising synth that will make any dancefloor erupt into a heated flow of energy. The third and final track 'La Morena' is a bit more on the funky side of techno, using rhythmic percussion to create a cool, peak-time vibe.

Two originals here from Hugo Paixao which both have a full throttle approach about them. Pounding drums and bass along with crisp percussion and hats create a powerful concoction of techno elements. 

The Advent & Industrialyzer change up the feel of Hazard bringing in synth licks and grooves and creating a nice alternative with a big and unique sound.

Tom Hades provides winding synths and an array of rhythmic percussion and hats. Altogether these create a hypnotic yet full on techno track with an addictive groove.

The label boss The Advent teams up with Spiriakos and they deliver a great release for Kombination Research. The original mix of 'Point Of No Return' is a smooth techno production that builds early on with some nice beats and some subtle effects. Filterheadz deliver their remix on the flip and maintain some of the quirky vibe in the drum work.
