Kia is an acclaimed Australian DJ & founder of the Animalia & Cirrus labels. A highly skilled selector and open-eared music digger, who is ever searching tirelessly for lost obscurities and hidden gems. On the dancefloor her sound spans bass heavy rhythms, IDM and the deeper shades of techno.

About the mix Kia said: “This mix is a big amalgamation of sets and moods I've been playing recently on my travels in Mexico, Colombia, the US & Canada, and some shades and new styles influenced by my time in Latin America & Detroit specifically. Like a travel diary in a mix :) ”

At Monument Festival 2022 Kia gifted us with the perfect afternoon set, laying down three hours of tightly woven hypnotic grooves. This year she will be closing out Friday night playing b2b with Polygonia. Not to be missed.

On the Saturday night of Monument Festival 2024, amenthia recordings co-founder agonis delivered a legendary session of futuristic, crystalline electronics. With the dancers engulfed in thick fog and red lasers, and the newly upgraded sound system of the Varden stage at his command, agonis drenched the crowd with tidal waves of finely tuned, precision psychedelia that was crafted specifically for the Norwegian forest. The ultimate high fidelity speaker test.

A London DJing and promotion mainstay since 2006, Casper Clark started using the name Volte-Face in 2014 when his first productions started to land, initially on his own label BleeD, with subsequent appearances on the likes of Semantica, Non-Series and Phorma. The period up until 2019 was marked by appearances at important beacons of the European techno scene such as Berghain, Tresor, Khidi, Trouw, Shelter, Rex, Razzmatazz, Lux and Gare as well as tours of the US and Asia. 

On a somewhat enforced hiatus since 2019, he’s recently found his way back to DJing with a renewed sense of focus and purpose, with a desire to explore and share a wider range of interests than he felt able or permitted to do in the past. His regular ambient series ‘Through The Wreckage’, and usually quite experimental radio shows can be found via his Soundcloud and this mix, his first on a podcast since an ambient set for Monument in 2018, hones in on a deep and heady broken-beat rhythm.
