this right here if a the issue with "vinyl only" DJs, this transition could've been SO good if he had beat matched it correctly,  now it's been 90 seconds of off beat messy trash. I'm a huge fan of XDB, and vinyl in general, but if you're gonna upload a "vinyl DJ set" mature sure it's on point. That transition was trash and lost a lot of momentum in the set. don't let your boomer ass mindset sabotage your potential 💯

i hope younger DJs take and don't let the "vinyl is better" crowd influence your style. it's cool to learn vinyl and how to spin on vinyl, but make no mistake, you can spin WAY better sets on digital. Digital DJing offers so many more creative opportunities. Period. Respect to the OGs, but techno is about evolution, and the future, and unfortunately "vinyl only" is not that.

XDB is Kosta Athanassiadis – German by birth and in residence, with Greek parentage. He started djing in the early 90s and still plays vinyl only. Over the years his music was released on labels like Dolly, Harbour City Sorrow and Sistrum. In 2006 he started the record label Metrolux. There’s a refreshing lack of gimmickry to his approach – keeping it low-key allows him to be judged solely on the basis of talent. Enjoy!
