SPLOT is back with the most extensive body of work to date. We’re proud to present Crystalline: 10-track VA with gems from the talent of Polish underground scene. Spanning over a variety of styles and genres. Crystalline is truly an encapsulation of different musical inspirations that gave birth to SPLOT. And a sign of what’s to come.

Crystalline moves towards the urban dancehall and mutant bass with opening track ‘kostomłoty’ from the local underground musician repmeis. Next up is don dadan karambolo, SPLOT ambassador who brings cold bassline and one-of-a-kind dub-stepping business in ‘dym’. Drum and bass professor continues his multigenre journey. Mighty Satl rolls out dubby, techno-flavoured and syncopated rhythms in ‘Noodles142’.

Wrocław based Michał Łoboda comes next with an introspective broken techno tool. ‘evergreen’ explores the spaces of soothing bass and damp ambiance. The vibe is continued by another local talent. Rethe presents sophisticated production skills on his deep and spaced-out track. Dominated by massive drums and absorbing textures, ‘Under Construction’ is a first-class heady dancefloor destroyer. Prime cuts of UK-inspired rhythms are provided by holoe. Driven by powerful bassline, garage keys and rude electro, ‘screwface’ fulfills promise in the title.

One-half of a cult Warsaw duo Private Press, 2Shy comes with a hybrid of dubstep-influenced techno, rolling drums and trance structures that plunge the listener into a mental rollercoaster with ‘Nexu Modes’. Fischerle brings his tape-ambient feeling to a stomping, dub-heavy ‘Omoluzu’, which twists organic percussions and dense atmospheres together into a spiral.

A long time live-act performer Adam Salamøn puts together his first track ‘Elegy for the Clouds’, being a captivating ambient piece, which guides us through a misty tropical forest, finished with emotive pads. Representing Warsaw, Cafe de la Jungle brings cyberspace-tribal energy on the title track ‘Crystalline 99’. Channelling the futuristic and psychedelic sounds of early 1990s jungle, he closes the release and leads us into the sound of the new millennium.

Farron enters faster territories on this record, telling the story of the hunt after the mysterious jade antique that is hidden in the infamous „House Of Traps“. 
After entering the house, one already feels the oppressive atmosphere. The ubiquitous feeling of not being welcome here is obvious when the golden walls invert and you come to face countless swordsmen ready to attack. The vigorous atmosphere of „Penny At The Chain“ boosts up your confidence for what is about to come. 
But what if the intruder is skilled in kung-fu? The mob retreats automatically and bars of iron come down to confine you. „Wilshire 1015“ and its driving bassline, warm pads and whirling breaks will calm you down a bit. But what’s next? 
In the twinkling of an eye, a field of razor-sharp nails come through the floor that you are standing on, and the escape route up the stairway becomes perilous as the stairs suddenly form into an array of sharp blades. „Hiatus Phase“ keeps you focused and light-footed, so you can manage the jump up to the next floor. 
However the next stirring event quickly follows. The moment you feel safe, a giant golden net unexpectedly launches from every direction and traps you in the middle of the room, hung over the floor. As if this wasn’t enough, the mob is rushing back again - armed with bows and arrows. But the varied atmosphere of „All In CST“, its floating pads and filtered breaks energize you, and so you are able to make a getaway from the most lethal attack. 
After dodging the giant blades suddenly swinging in from each side, you are finally there. The golden cage and its arcane content. The warmth of „Conback“ and its sparkling pads slowly fill the room as you open up the cage. Another trap, or a bright future? Find out…

Korean producer Soolee's second full-length album, Void Time Axis, is a mix of arrangements designed for effective repetition and change, polyrhythmic grooves composed of various rhythms in parallel, earworm synths, and deeply refined ambient sounds.

The eight tracks are represented by letters with different meanings. 시(Si) 始 Start, 대(Dae) 對 Treat, 감(Gam) 堪 Endure, 정(Jung) 正 Right, 류(Ryu) 流 Flow, 인(Inn) 忍 Patience, 극(Geuk) 極 Extreme, 공(Gong) 空 Void. And these letters are arranged to form a story.

Void Time Axis, completed as a single image by removing the time axis from the entire story, is an album of original sound expressed with the identity of a Korean techno producer.
