Guesthouse is turning 8 years old, so we thought that as a thank you for all your support we would offer this as a little present in preparation for this weekend’s party and in turn for leaving you with the start of a musical legacy we intend to create through this podcast series.

It is such a great pleasure to present you with the first Guesthouse Podcast along with other aspects which we will be bringing out this week such as our brand new website and blog.

To start things off, we have who is, one of the most understated and respected artists in our scene, Rhadoo, to provide us with a recording of his fabric set when the club turned 19 years old last October. A lot could be written and said about this artist who is so outstanding, unique and historically relevant to minimalism, however, in order to be in line with his identity and his understatement we will let the music speak for itself. 

We would like to thank fabric for granting us this recording and wish them a great night this Saturday as they have their annual RPR Soundsystem gathering. 

Back here in Bucharest, we will be celebrating with a stellar line up including Charlie, Christopher Ledger, Inner, Junki Inoue, Kozo, Praslea and Vera.

Readers of these pages and indeed any lover of electronic music will need little to no introduction to Thomas Melchior (aka Melchior Productions Ltd). From his collaborative work as Soul Capsule with Peter Adshead, ToFu Productions with Fumiya Tanaka, to his own seminal solo work for the likes of Perlon, Cadenza, Playhouse, and his own My King Is Light imprint Melchior is a treasure to the worldwide community.

Moreover, his work alongside longdated friend Bruno Pronsato will again bear fruit on an upcoming release on FOOM, and two already scheduled for My King Is Light
