This was recorded last year in October.
This is one of my favorite pieces for the piano. It sparked my interest in in classical music and if it wasn't for this piece, I question whether I would even be playing piano right now.

A very dark, strange, mysterious piece, although one of my favorites by the 20th century Russian composer, Alexander Scriabin. 

This was recorded October of 2013 on a Hamburg Steinway piano.

My first, of hopefully more to come, from the Kingdom Hearts Piano Collection. I regret never playing any of the Kingdom Hearts games, it sounds like they had great storylines and fantastic music. Two of my favorite things in video games. I may never play it but that doesn't mean that I can't play the music from it.

Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections: Kairi - 2nd Mov. Andante Sostenuto

A very simple piece of music but very pretty. It was written by Yuki Kajiura. I like a lot of her work. I have never seen the anime that this is from, I stumbled on it during one my anime/video game music listening adventures.

.Hack//G.U. - Swaying Emotions

Here is a remaster that I put together of the Ultimate Koopa/Final Bowser theme from Super Mario 64. 

My goal for this remaster was to update the sound while staying true to the original music. I didn't change too much from the original, I just added orchestra bells and choir. I feel if Nintendo did a remaster today of Super Mario 64 the music for the final bowser fight I imagine would sound something like this.

I began taking piano lessons at the age of 12. Although I did not want to take piano lessons at first I did eventually began to enjoy them. After my first teacher moved out of the area I briefly stopped playing piano until I stumbled on a video online of the Video Game Pianist playing music from Super Mario Bros. I then took up the piano again playing mostly music from video games. Eventually I became acquainted with the music by the great 19th century composers, Franz Liszt and Frédéric Chopin. I then became very interested in classical music. I have been featured as a soloist with several symphonies and I have been a participant in the Round Top Music Festival and the Atlantic Music Festival.
