Jamz Supernova (BBC Radio 1Xtra) & label partner Helena Antoniades can now reveal the next anticipated signing to their Future Bounce imprint - Melle Brown.

22-year-old London-born @melle-brown announces her debut 'Intersection' EP featuring the likes of BBC Radio 1Xtra's Hot For 2019 artist Tiana Major9, up & coming Manchester rapper Lay Full Stop and producer Intalekt (who's worked with the likes of Jay Prince.)

Kickstarting her career in music at the age of 14, as a producer, DJ, and now radio host, Melle effortlessly blurs the lines between Neo-Soul, Jazz and mid-tempo House.

The first instalment from the EP is out now and comes in the form of soulful house offering 'Background Noise' featuring the talented new vocalist Oli Hannaford. The record has already had early support in the form of a premiere from BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra’s Toddla T.

I want to thank crlzz, LOZE, FIBRE, Childhood and Vantage for working with me on my this album making my dreams come true. I never thought any of this would happen and it was amazing to work with you all to create such a variety of music on the album. I can't express in words how awesome this experience was. I hope you all enjoy the album and it makes you want to dance and have a good time! The goal of this album was to hit every sound that is within the Future Funk/French House genres whether it's the old school sound or new school I wanted to have it all. These tracks enter your consciousness like shooting stars in the fragrant darkness of a warm night in spring. Felix Raphael's bass lines are as deep as the sea, and the bounce of his rhythms hits the sweet spot. While the dancing body is hypnotized by these elements, the mind follows the organic pattern of his free-floating melodic arrangements. When the vocal sets in, it merges into the tune as if it was an echo from the parallel world of a dream. Many new names in the 3000Grad context make the Skalar EP a very fresh and versatile affair: Paul Hazendonk provides a remix full of harmonic ecstasy, Yannek Maunz a dose of spaced-out trippiness, and Brid & Snyder hurl us straight into the bubbling vortex of their melodic groove.

I really focused on creating a balance between acoustic and electric elements in this track, what completes the song for me is the slow phase movement on the main arpeggiation which create a slow moving modulation.
