Toy Tonics ITALOMANIA Vol. 2  is a compilation dedicated to NEW ITALIAN DISCO. (Not Italo Disco.)  13 young contemporary Italian producers made new organic disco, indie dance, avant pop and house tracks with Italian vocals. 

Everything on this compilation has been produced in 2023. Fresh dance music by Italian indie electronic star Myss Keta together with DJ Severino (of Horse Meat Disco) and newcomers Sam Ruffillo, Fimiani, Magou, Tommiboy, Daniel Monaco, Giovanni d'Amico. And new music by artists  Stump Valley (from Dekmantel), Munk (Gomma records), Rodion (Slow Motion Records) and DJ legend Lele Sacchi.
 The ITALOMANIA compilation was initiated by Toy Tonics boss Kapote. The idea is to show the status of Italian Disco of today. It’s like a „manifesto“!
Kapote invited the most relevant Italian producers to make new tracks with Italian vocals and show different styles of modern Italian disco, dance and house music with Italian vocals. All tracks compiled by Kapote aka Mathias Modica aka Munk. Italo-German producer, DJ, keyboarder and head of Toy Tonics and Gomma records.

Rob Woodward, AKA Demetae, dons his Tasteless Talk alias for the first time for the ‘Love’s Destination’ EP on La Mano’s Sound Du Jour label. Alongside the single, Woodward is joined by PBR Streetgang and 1⁄2 of PBR Streetgang, Magari, for the remixes. 

It follows Demetae’s recent ‘Space-time Sleaze’ EP on Sound Du Jour, which won support from Chloé, Mufti, Captain Mustache, Posthuman, and many more.

As Tasteless Talk, Demetae writes 80s-inspired Italo, Disco and Electro Funk, lacing the ‘Love’s Destination’ single on Sound Du Jour with retro synths and the passionate vocals of vocalist MILLICENT. Bodied drums hang down low, airy melodies and nostalgia-rich lyrics at the forefront before Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe’s PBR Streetgang remix the track. Their version ups the energy via an organic breakbeat and layers of additional harmonies while maintaining MILLICENT’s timeless vocal. 

Bradberry then goes solo for the final track on the EP as Magari, his Scena Finale mix of ‘Love’s Destination’ features bold rhythms, chugging bass and an EBM-tinged feel.

Everything that could possibly represent me are in tangent with volume.

Volume in the world is mass that is measured by how much we put in it. However, the emotions that dictate behavior within others are sensual, controlled. Volume similar to water.

But mine are steered by unchained passion, a sensation where living close to the edge of death draws goosebumps on my skin. If i was willing to go far into the void, i'd wagered i could never crawl back from it.

La volume dans la monde est la masse qui est mesuré par le combien des systèmes que nous le mettons. Cependant, les émotions qui dictent le comportement dans les autres ont lascif. La volume est similaire d'eau.

Mais, ma volume a conduit par la passion indocile, une sensation où je habite à la falaise de mort crée une destruction de mon âme. Si j'étais considérer à aller dans l'abîme, je la parie qu'elle disparaît.
