ill-effect is a four-person band from the north of Luxembourg. The group was founded in 2008 and went through some major changes concerning its line-up, when in 2011 the band took on its probably definitive form. 
The young musicians play melodic punk influenced by ska, reggae, metal and even jazz, where particular attention is paid to the dynamic of the songs.
During winter 2012/2013, ill-effect recorded their first full-length album, which will be released this summer.
