Dream Tonic:
Dream Tonic is the musical vision of Kristin Allen-Farmer. As a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer, she pairs a lifetime of being a classically trained pianist with her love of electronic dance music. Her ethereal vocals, warm pads and heavy subs reveal whispers of her biggest influences - Billie Eilish, Morcheeba, Bjork and Portishead to name a few - yet her sound is hard to define and is an entirely unique voice in today’s musical landscape.

Kristin is proud to be a member of the Class of 808, an elite squad of EDM producers who release music under the Producer Dojo label, founded by the acclaimed bass music pioneer, ill.Gates. In addition to Dream Tonic, Kristin has various side projects and collaborations underway, including original contemporary classical piano, public domain classical arrangements, 80’s inspired retro synth wave, deep house and future bass projects. Kristin writes music for film and TV and enjoys Dream Tonic and her side projects being represented by a variety of sync agencies and music libraries.

Kristin is based in San Diego, CA. When not producing music, she can be found teaching music to the next generation of prodigies, spending time with her husband and two young children frolicking at music festivals, or dancing samba professionally at a variety of events.

Multi-genre electronic music Producer/DJ Spiderhound is Sean Naughton, an experienced musician, songwriter, producer and recording and mix engineer. Sean continues to fine-tune his craft after 2 decades in many original rock bands. Sean has studied under the talented Grammy award winning producer, Charles Dye and has worked closely with his mentors - the brilliant and legendary sound innovator, ill.Gates and the genre bending sound design guru, Mr. Bill. Sean also currently heads up A&R for Producer Dojo (ill.Gates’ record label and online learning community for music producers). 

Although Sean's first instrument was guitar, his instruments of choice at the moment are Ableton Live 11 Suite, Moog Sub 37, Make Noise 0-Coast, Push and Native Instruments Maschine Studio. Mr Bill was visiting at the Dojo HQ last Halloween and we normally end up doing a collab when we hang out. He made the drums and a lot of the main bass sounds first, then we decided it needed a bit more personality so we went digging through sounds and samples looking for a 'face'. Eventually, we came across this sample of Japanese people saying 'Cabbatsu' and 'Lettusu," which presumably mean 'Cabbage' and 'Lettuce'. They had such great intonation, it's always amusing to hear Japanese mutations of english words and they say them with such gusto! We were giggling a lot and played it out a few times, but felt it still needed a little something more. That's when we decided to hire Sylvain Canton to record us a 100% authentic horn section. That's the LAST thing you'd expect in the middle of a Dubstep/Riddim tune, right? It added this whole Star Wars Cantina band vibe that I feel really brings the whole thing to completion. I love seeing the confused looks on people's faces the first time they hear it. There's usually cheering at that point and then they go off extra hard when the bass comes back in after. Good times!
