[A Tribute to the Cycle of Life&Death]

Signin was fabricated in January 2022 as an ode to charlesthefirst;

It quickly evolved into something much deeper. 

It encompassed the birth of my son, connecting with passed loved ones, and honoring those giants whose shoulders I have stood on to see further. 

Without the accomplishments of those before us how can we become those who come next?

There will always be sparks of light in dark rooms as there always will be life in the deadest of night. 

Let my message speak clearly through my art, let it be a beacon of transmission, and a source of light in the dark rooms of our lives. 

I have learned that we are not in competition with each other but ourselves. 

To be ready to stand up for our rights, our freedoms, and our god given passion to not only survive, 

but THRIVE.

In current usage, horology refers mainly to the study of mechanical time-keeping devices, while chronometry more broadly includes electronic devices that have largely supplanted mechanical clocks for the best accuracy and precision in time-keeping.

Centered around a Chinese Erhu, Door of Destinies contrasts eastern flavours with hip hop foundations. The Erhu begins with a moody, sustained melody, before switching to a plucked, triplet rhythm. The bass is layered with a sample of a broken tuba, giving it a warped, but organic tone.

Every person has moments of disillusion in their life. Maybe they idolize someone that ends up being a bad person, or even go on a vacation that they thought was going to be amazing but isn't. Any event that causes us to re-evaluate our reality and change our perspective can be a moment of disillusion. It is only through these moments of darkness that we can change who we are to create a better life for ourselves and those around us. Thriftworks, Big Gigantic, Minnesota, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Eliminate, Manic Focus, Nasty Nasty, Zebbler Encanti Experience, Dr. Ozi, Terravita, Pleasure, Unlimited Aspect, Aplsoz, PartyWave, G Jones, Shlump, Pleasure, DJ SOLO, LabRat, Beak Nasty, Trebellion, Homemade Spaceship, Funkstatik, TruFeelz, Mark Instinct and so many more its hard to remember the incredible talent I have joined over the years on stage and been blessed to have been given the opportunity to follow and persue my dreams and turn them into a reality.  

Almost 7 years later, 2019 will resurrect a return that I promised I wouldn't come back to this name until I had my own productions instead of just being the DJ who kept things unique and underground, but was always helping set the current trend regionally for anyone listening.  I am so glad to be back.... there will be more to come, and I can't wait to start dropping bombs at all of you on the dancefloor.... I hope the wait was worth it, and I won't stop until I feel I have done the wait justice..... here's to 2019, see you all then!
