Hailing from Boston's gritty section of Dorchester, one of the inner city's most violent and drug infested areas, Price (aka Price Stylez) drops his first official single "Dear N***a" (prod. by Confidence) from his TBA album, dropping 2014 on Ill Adrenaline Records.

Upon deciding to focus on his music and not on the streets, Price began performing in local clubs as well as the legendary "Strand Theatre" where many acts from inside and outside of Boston would come to grace the stage.  He also dropped a few mixtapes and made an impression on local hip-hop heads like Mal Moe, who introduced his talents to Confidence (of Rashad/Purpose & Confidence), already a proven producer under the NJ based indie label Ill Adrenaline Records, that released a bunch of critically acclaimed albums and singles by Rashad & Confidence, Purpose & Confidence, 7 G.E.M.S. (Tragic Allies & Tragedy Khadafi), Beneficence, The Legion, The Purist & Roc Marciano, Neek The Exotic, Da Beatminerz and The Regiment. Ill Adrenaline Records co-founder and Brick City native Beneficence drops his seventh album entitled "Stellar Mind", entirely produced by longtime collaborator and Boston producer Confidence (of Rashad & Confidence). More than four years in the making, "Stellar Mind" takes a deep journey and boom bap ride with flawless production courtesy of Confidence, the man with the golden sound. Benef’s & Conf’s latest installment is a mastery of beats, rhymes, jazz loops, and soul at its apex. With slick vocals and blue-collar aesthetics, it gives the listener head-nodding street anthems and stays true to its roots. 16 tracks strong, the album takes a more personal approach and drops around the same time as Benef's book "Concrete Soul: Memoir & Making of Ill Adrenaline Records". 
In the intro (Hypnosis) the close Artifacts affiliate rhymes with conviction, "many failed to see the vision, homey who are we kidding, breads with Goldman Sachs, forget the hands of a vixen". Another banger is the infectious horn laced "Travelling Man" where Benef runs down a list of moments in time. "DB Coppers hi jack, John Coltrane's tenor sax, the lost notebook that Eminem hoping to get back, the final destination that we all will end up at". The album's first single "My Way" features Masta Ace and Phantasm (of Cella Dwellas), revealing their perspectives of choice options in life and music. 
Beneficence & Confidence is a dream team that boom-bap connoisseurs have been patiently eager to hear. Ill Adrenaline Records and Da Beatminerz team up again to put out two dope unreleased remixes coming straight out the vaults from Mr. Walt and Evil Dee.
While the original version of "...Sumthin" (feat. Tash & Rah Digga) got a more funky vibe, the remix of this east coast/west coast collaboration banger is on the rough and rugged tip. Produced by Mr. Walt and featuring Tash of Tha Alkaholiks and Brick City's Rah Digga, this remix was recorded back in the same year as the original version (1998) and shelved until now.
The b-side remix of Black Star's (Mos Def & Talib Kweli) "Another World" is another amazing and unreleased remix of this classic tune. Just like the first remix, this drum driven and funky remix didn't make it onto any release either. Da Beatminerz got hired to do several remixes of this track (originally produced by UK production crew The Creators) in '98.

Following the critically acclaimed "Pillars" EP with MindsOne, Kev Brown teams up again with Ill Adrenaline Records, this time collaborating with fellow Low Budget Crew member Hassaan Mackey to bless listeners with "That Grit".

Both the Washington D.C. based producer-on-the-mic and the Rochester, NY emcee are longtime members of the prolific artist collective and have previously worked together various times, but this mini-album marks the first time the two embark on a full project. Most boom-bap enthusiasts should already be well acquainted with both Kev Brown and Hassaan Mackey: double threat Kev Brown already showcased his skills on microphones as well as production boards on countless releases and has been dubbed "king of basslines" by fans worldwide. In addition to his solo recordings Kev's credits include beats for heavyweights like Busta Rhymes, Biz Markie, De La Soul, Jazzy Jeff, and Marley Marl just to name a few, as well as handling entire album production for LMNO, Kaimbr, and Raw Poetic. Hassaan Mackey released a string of albums, including a full-length LP with Apollo Brown, and appearances on releases by Oddissee, Kaimbr, The Left and L'Orange.

Recorded during a series of impromptu bus and train trips Hassaan took from Rochester to visit Kev in Washington, "That Grit" was created with a spontaneous approach, reflecting both Mackey's freestyle background and Brown's proven "random joints" formula. Entirely produced by Kev Brown and featuring his signature bassline-driven and raw but soulful sound, "That Grit" consists of an intro, eight full-length tracks and six instrumentals. Hassaan and Kev share mic duties on most of the songs, inviting close friends/frequent collaborators Kaimbr, Toine, yU, Kenn Starr, Eye-Q, Asheru (of Unspoken Heard) as well as the Younger Soul Brother Grap Luva along as feature guests, turning the record into a true family affair.

With two full-length albums already under their belts that garnered them buzz in the underground ("Lasting Impressions" & "The Revisited"), New Jersey originated emcee uMaNg, reunites with Swedish producer B.B.Z. Return of the Duo Dynamic...

New York underground veterans Q Ball & Curt Cazal (QNC) make a long overdue return with their new 7" single "At The Same Time" b/w "Demo". In recent years QNC have been highly sought after by producers from across the globe, resulting in transatlantic collaborations which have helped to secure a strong international fanbase.

"At The Same Time" was designed specifically to feature the always energetic M.O.P., who provided a classic hook. As former studio regulars at the legendary, now defunct D&D studios, where they both recorded & released a series of well-respected singles, the collaboration was inevitable.

"Demo" came about during an in-depth search for a complimentary song to include as part of a new vinyl single to release. Though different from many of the previous QNC underground hits ("My Kinda Moves", "Makin' Moves", "Repertoire"), it harnesses a new energy, but retains the familiar flavor, in a more free flowing stew.

This will be the first QNC release in several years entirely produced by Curt Cazal (a member of legendary old school Long Island crew J.V.C.F.O.R.C.E. and producer for Keith Murray, M.O.P., Boot Camp Clik, Krumb Snatcha, Afu-Ra, and many more) adding an extra level of anticipation.

MindsOne connects with Belgium's DJ Iron on their newest endeavor, "Phaseology", and aim to examine the bigger picture. Why are we here? Where do we go in the end? Is that an SP1200? Damn right. Is life too complex to condense into 40 minutes? Challenge accepted.

First, don't look at life as the sum of its events. Think about it as a series of phases. Next, combine MindsOne's handcrafted lyrical artistry with DJ Iron's jazz infused boom-bap. Combine, two parts cynicism, one part mysticism, and add water. Then, sprinkle in a guest appearance by the sage John Robinson, throw in a heavy dose of turntablism from DJ Iron and MindsOne's DJ Noumenon and Slim Deluxe, and the theory is complete.

"Phaseology" is the follow-up to MindsOne's 2014 critically acclaimed release, "Pillars", produced by Kev Brown. Journey along as Tronic and KON Sci explore the phases of life and create scenes, both real and imagined, to give listeners a bird's-eye view. Relive childish fantasies and revisit irrational fears. Go to work and act like an adult. Ponder your existence and reflect on your life. Spoiler: It's all gonna end. But not today.

Some emcees have preserved the gift of quality over time and Phantasm is one of these emcees. In the 90's and early 2000 Phantasm and then partner UG were signed to almighty Loud Records as Cella Dwellas (later just The Dwellas) along with several heavyweight acts on the label's roster including Wu-Tang Clan, Big Pun, Xzibit, M.O.P, and Mobb Deep. Phantasm & UG's debut album "Realms 'N Reality" (1996) debuted at #160 on the Billboard 200 charts and was mainly produced by underground mainstay beatsmith Nick Wiz. The Flatbush duo was also featured on fellow Brooklyn artist Masta Ace's classic album "Sittin' On Chrome". The Dwellas followed up with a dope second album ("The Last Shall Be First") in 2000 which featured Large Professor, Cocoa Brovaz, Organized Konfusion, Inspectah Deck (of Wu-Tang Clan), and many more.

Phantasm recently teamed up with Ill Adrenaline Records to release a timeless single ("Louder Than Ever") produced by Germany's own SP1200 maestros 12 Finger Dan and B-Base (aka Soulbrotha). Complete with a true school feel and a dope scratch hook, Phan executes with a sharp delivery with lines like "...had to pen them bars, got out the street life had to mend them scars. After releasing classic albums by Rashad & Confidence, Beneficence and Purpose & Confidence during the last couple years, Ill Adrenaline Records strikes again with another powerful and mind blowing full length. Hailing from Lynn, Massachusetts, the Tragic Allies trio Purpose, Estee Nack and Code Nine team up with Queensbridge veteran Tragedy Khadafi aka Intelligent Hoodlum to form the group "7 G.E.M.S.".
