Vic Spencer is down with RUCKDOWN, a crew of MCs curated by the slumberg Sean Price. A few weeks ago, Vic went to Brooklyn to meet with the legend and they both went to Goblin Studios to record Distorted Views, a beat produced by one of Spencer's in house engineers/producers and GrindHouse partner, Doc da Mindbenda. 

"Working with one of my inspirations proves that I'm one step away", Spencer says posted at the GrindHouse with Doc and ILLeet, playing the records that was recorded in New York for Vic's solo album due in the 4th quarter. "First of all, Sean P fucks with Doc beats so it was immediate chemistry in the booth. I fuck with the love that NY has for Chicago MC's such as myself, because P could have worked or chose anybody else from here. But it's ME that he fucks with. Besides all the dope barplay and rugged beats, Price a real genuine dude."

Longtime observer and emcee of the culture Truth is set to release his debut album "From Ashes To Kingdome Come" on Ill Adrenaline Records. A few years back Truth formed an alliance with PF Cuttin (of Blahzay Blahzay) and together the Queens emcee and the Brooklyn producer/DJ/engineer are ready to release a typical 90's throwback sounding full-length that carries PF's thumbprint throughout. On the 18-track strong heater Truth picks up various topics, ranging from life experiences to repping hip-hop culture - always showcasing his passionate and sharp lyrical rhyme skills. Entirely recorded and mixed by PF Cuttin, the album's raw and dusty sound stays true to the streets, including features from heavyweights such as the late Sean Price, O.C., and AG (of D.I.T.C.). Newcomer JK1 The Supernova handles the majority of production along with veteran producers PF Cuttin, Psycho Les (of The Beatnuts), Da Beatminerz, and DJ Doom. Truth feat. Sean Price "New Type Of Something"

New joint by east coast duo Constant Deviants who release their new album "Omerta" on June 28th.

"Cutt for President" is a bonus track recorded recently with MC M.I.'s instantly recognizable flows making way for generous sections of turntablism supplied by the man himself, DJ Cutt.

The Baltimore rapper is currently in his home city filming scenes for a new movie "Can't Live Without My Radio".  He stars in and produced another new film "Six2Six" which also features Treach, Syleena Johnson and Chief Rocker Busy Bee, a film which has been selected by the Hip Hop Film Festival to be screened in NYC in August.  The festival is run by Ralph McDaniels and Julien Lockhart

Constant Deviants will be performing in Baltimore as part of the LoudPalooza event taking place at Castaways on June 25th.  The following day they will be in NYC for a week long series of radio & press interviews, with a special album launch event also in the works.

"Cutt for President" received its first radio airing last night on DJ Eclipse's Rap Is Outta Control Show on Sirius XM's Hip Hop Nation.
