KRS-ONE Stalag Riddim Dubplate

A Dublin native who now calls Berlin home, Adam brings a diverse musical background to his performances. From being raised on everything from classical and choral music to blues, jazz, and soul, Adam's musical upbringing was a melting pot of influences from both sides of the family.

Before taking to Radio and DJing, Adam predominantly performed in various bands In Ireland. As a drummer and bass player, percussive rhythms and grooves are the essence of his playing and selections. This foundation in live music results in sets that are unique and filled with a blend of live and instruments and electronic sounds guaranteed to move you.

As the host of HotWHeels on Refuge Worldwide and founder of a throwing Shapes, a Berlin based record club and non-profit party series, Adam curates shows and events that are designed with the purpose of informing, connecting people and telling stories through music.

The legendary SHOES edits crew returns to dance-floors, living rooms and lounges with four new edits in a range of tempos and styles. "BE HAPPY" in classic Shoes style references both sample sources of MARY J BLIGE and CURTIS MAYFIELD and the many tracks that have sampled her vocals, resulting in a filtered midtempo breaks laden disco affair. "THE CEDDO JINGO THEME" mashes together afro-beat from MANU DIBANGO and 90's techno references with CARL CRAIG's classic remix of HOT LIZARD. The B-side kicks off with a hip hop beat laced edit of TAJ MAHAL's reggae soul track "MUSIC KEEPS ME TOGETHER". A message we all need right about now. FInally, roundingout the EP SHOES brings the baby making soul vibes with "HEY GIRL" an edit of KEM's sexy soul, adding downbeat chug. (SHOES RECORDS)

Fourth and final of the chakra inspired dj yoga events at Joyful Yoga and Ayurvedic Spa, Bonita Springs FL. This one focussed on the 3rd Eye (Ajna) and Crown (Sahasrara) Chakras, which can be connected to with sounds of synthesizers. With that in mind, this is a live mix of expansive, sweeping, rising, synth grooves and robotic rhythms.
