ILLECTRONIC TEASER MIX

What started off as two lads with a taste for all things dark and bassy playing warm-up sets for local funky-house nights back in 2007 has grown enormously from a concept to a fully-realised DJing partnership in what seems such a short space of time. Andy Duckett and Cameron Meagor are no strangers to clubland, having watched from the stands as the world's DJ elite smash up the scene and thinking "Why can't we do that?" 

It all really began to take shape when they started throwing their own parties in their previous incarnation: Spanked*, running from residencies in Hitchin and Cambridge, which saw them bringing in local and industry champions such as General Midi, A:B:S, Mr B and that Girl DJ as well as individually performing for several stalwart club nights such as Boomslang, The Gallery, Uptight / NeXcuse, Dirty Spirit, NuSkoolBreaks, Froot and Electric Boogaloo with the likes of Leeroy Thornhill, Utah Saints, Kickflip, DJ Absorb, Baobinga, High Eight, Cut La Roc & Scoundrel.

Their Spanked* moniker also held a bi-weekly show on www.nsb.radio.co.uk playing out  across the globe to much acclaim.

Their latest project: illectronic sees them pulling their sound into other avenues as well as keeping one foot firmly wedged in that awful noise that has shaped all their parties to date: Breakbeat. 

With a new home in Hitchin's much loved forward thinking music venue: Chic Bar, 2012 onward looks to be a stonker with a string of parties confirmed, kicking off with international favourites: The Plump DJs!!
