As soon as I received the topline from Nevve I knew exactly where I wanted to take this project; to this day, Wildfire remains one of the most seamless production experiences I’ve had with a vocalist. The lyrics in this single have always resonated with me, and will forever bring back a particular feeling I’d been dwelling on at the time that the song was created. Reminiscent of past experiences, the words remind of a time when I could escape the world with someone I love, dismiss the stress of day to day life, and simply exist in the moment.
