Angel Heredia continues to build an ear-catching house collection for Clarisse, already having given clubbers extra clout with the ‘Groovapaluzza’, ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Take A Trip’ EPs. Long accepting the challenge of Spanish dancefloors with the best Europe has to offer ready and waiting, Heredia - always knocking on the door of labels that make waves - shows with his latest two tracks, he’s the bubbliest producer to get on at a champagne foam party at high sun.
 
Fizzy, funky house music sounds like this. ‘Suena Asi’ selects native tongues and wraps them around tough beats and a brick wall of bass – one acting responsibly, the other belonging to a mad-for-it club kid. Percussion throws numerous skin-slapping solos and drum rolls into the mix, one funky drummer always trying to out-do the next one as Heredia takes a front row seat for poolside bump and grind, pose and appreciation.
 
Ask a crowd the question ‘Wanna Dance’ at daybreak and there’s only one answer, Heredia impressively funky with the sort of perfect drums and bass agreement that David Guetta, Mark Knight and Umek have shown love for. Deep enough to dig down into but frisky enough to get everyone involved (you can hear the smoke machines going off), more bongo vibes keep spirits lifted (and poured), with the criss-cross of vocal samples this time getting divas to cross paths on the catwalk. Once again, Heredia holds a pair of aces.
