Throwback to 2011! Was going through some self discovery lyrically at this point. The 2nd verse about fatherhood was more introspective about what was going on for me personally with an in law along with my outlook on fatherhood. Now as a father in 2020, the lines hold stronger significance! Also a bunch of punchlines and references to pop culture ("Heart that makes me tick-man, like the Tin-man and Bret the Hitman", "Somebody's gotta go like their John Gotti's foe"). A definite banger in ILLiptical's catalogue of rhymes!
