Halloween Heaters from iLLith & Foxifur

Halloween time is the best time...and making a dark, eerie, cinematic set that gives chills & thrills is one of the best things about it for me! I was blown away by the masterful & eerie tracks that came out this year. Dublink's Goosebumps is honestly the best remix I've ever heard, I wanted to open with it but NotLö's Petrify was a must for opener, the creepy little girl soundbytes are terrifying! I recorded the 2 sets I DJed live on Halloween, then boiled them down into one hourish set and recorded for posting up.

Sunrise (ish) set first set of the last day of Burning Man V.Island regional Otherworld at the Temple of Eternal Nectar

Sunrise sets are the sounds of my soul. The music I flow to. My moments of kinetic mediation. Sunrise is my most beloved set time, because as the light come up on the last day of an experience like this, it’s time for a mystic bass bath to bless those on their path homeward to the Default World. As the music started, I looked up and saw people start to journey towards me from various camps and stages. We gathered and together danced and celebrated the beginning of the last day of this microcosm of awesome we all co-created. I can’t truly express how blissed and filled with love for my community I felt at the end of this set. Immense gratitude towards the Temple of Eternal Nectar, which looked and sounded beautiful, for having me out.

There are a few volume drop downs as I announced to the crowd but left them in in the spirit of a raw, completely unedited mix that I actually collected music for in under a week after my DJ laptop got crshed shortly before the show. ! This was a high energy night and Cheshire blew us all away, stoked to share this mix out!

PURR iLLith DJ set

I have a massive love for the Cumberland Wild Silent Disco. The fact a whole camp can be dancing and listening to up to 3 different kinds of music...together. That people can be waaaaay back in the festival and hear it like they were right in front. Your lonely walk to the portapoddy becomes a dance. You meet other people on your channel and spend a minute moving like crazy with a new friend. The VS aspects of the Cumberland Wild Silent Disco are also a supreme thrill for me, I was on Blue Channel Saturday 3:45 am -5 am against the Heardsmen on Red Channel. I spent a lot of my younger years roaming the globe and performing poetry and erotica I had written, so felt like the time to bring this one back. The erotica crossed with bass track The Razor is a sonic teaser for the longer version audiobook erotica in my new series The Lilith Sessions.
SAND and I sat down over a 3 hour or so period, I wrote the lyrics and he crafted the sounds, with us jamming on sound effects, etc. It was an intense and exciting experience to take a concept from out of my brain and have SAND bring it to the point it is now.
